Al Kawthar at the United Nations

Al-Khoei Foundation organised and hosted a side event in the Human Rights Council 36th session in Geneva and Al-Kawthar team attended and participated in this event. The speakers spoke about the women’s sufferings in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Yemen and also in the UK. This event is also hoping to bring awareness of the Orphans and Widows in Iraq.

The event was titled “Women – The Neglected Suffering”

There were four speakers in the panel.

Maha Ridha, Akeela Ahmed, and Mariam Kanwer, and Kim Sharif.

The event was a great success with very positive feedback.
