Ramadhan Campaign

For the past few years, Al-Kawthar has been running its Ramadhan Food Basket Appeal where each donor contributes towards a food basket that contains Ramadan food essentials for the entire month. As well as our food baskets we will be distributing meat and chicken parcels which is a treat for those in need.

(The righteous are those) who give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, [Saying], 'We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.' - Holy Quran

A little donation of £40 means that we can provide the families with a basket with the following essentials:

  • 3 kilograms of Rice
  • 2 kilograms of Sugar, lentils
  • 1 kilogram of Green lentils, flour, cornflour, tomato paste, sunflower oil, hummus, kidney beans
  • 0.5 kilograms of Tea, raisins

Around Eid we will be distributing Eid gifts to Orphans which cost our donors as little as £25 but bring a priceless smile to orphans.

Thank you for your ongoing support, your generous donations have allowed us to feed those in need. We hope that you all have an uplifting Ramadan and together we carry on impacting the lives of others.
