In response to the numbers of Covid-19 cases rising again in Iraq, Al-Kawthar project is providing the necessary protection equipment for the widows and orphans. In addition to their monthly allowance we will be distributing masks, gloves and sanitising products to help keep the families safe from the virus.

With over 200,000 (18 March) people affected globally by the Covid-19 pandemic and with the increasing impact on healthcare services, widows and orphans in Iraq are especially at risk.

Please help us prevent the spread of the virus among the most vulnerable in society by donating since the families we support cannot afford these basic items but these can be crucial in preventing the spread of the virus.
