5K Walk South London
On the 23rd of July 2017, 29 women participated in a 5K charity walk to raise money for school uniforms and stationery for the Al Kawthar orphans in Iraq. This took place early morning in Dulwich Park followed by a well-deserved breakfast in Affogato Café in Norbury.
Alhamdulillah, we were blessed with good weather which increased the level of excitement throughout the day. The women who participated sacrificed their Sunday sleep for this walk and the amount of enthusiasm we received from this group of women was unbelievable and we can’t thank them enough for taking part in this amazing event.
